Before You Book
Tufting draws with yarn, not ink. Bold shapes and clear colour blocks come out crisp; fine detail blurs into the pile. Our Small (16"), Medium (22") and Large (26") rugs hold more detail as they grow, but every size loves a simple, confident design.
Bold, simple shapes
High contrast between neighbouring colours
Thick outlines and a limited palette
Large lettering and silhouettes
Thin lines and fine patterns
Soft or blurred edges
Small text and many tiny details
Lots of similar colours touching
Questions
Everything you need to know before you book.
Yes. In our experience artists 14+ have the most success. Artists under 18 years old need a parent or guardian present.
No — just the want to be creative. We'll walk you through everything from the very beginning.
We offer three sizes to choose from:
I say anything but within reason. Generally speaking the bigger the shapes the better. Usually the more simple the design the cleaner things come out. If you are unsure just submit your booking inquiry below and I will get back to you asap! See our design guide
Your rug is a decorative piece — made to be admired, not walked on. Display it on a wall, layer it in a bedroom, or use it as a statement piece in any living space. That's where tufted rugs shine. Just keep it away from high-moisture spots (bathrooms, entryways) and anywhere shoes track in grit — that's what loosens the fibers over time.
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, blot (don't scrub), and let it dry flat. Vacuum gently with suction only — no beater bar. Never machine wash. Keep it out of direct sun to avoid fading. Choose rubber backing if it will sit on a hard floor and you want it to stay put.
Timing depends on your size and design — here's a general guide:
Just yourself. Feel free to bring a drink or a snack if you'd like — we want you to feel right at home.
